The band’s music is a mixture of Metal & Rock. All the tracks have heavy grooving guitars along with Stadium rock drums and driving bass. Oddball's voice completes the songs with catchy melody right the way through to aggressive 'Corey Taylor' style tones. The band sits well with a whole range of Rock and Metal genres which makes them quite unique in the Rock & Metal world.
They have a polished live performance and put on a very energetic, high octane show. The band sits very well on a large stage and are destined for the big time as they continue to expand their profile and loyal fanbase with performances all over the UK.
Keep an eye out for THE SELF TITLED!
Having performed at Bloodstock Open Air festival 2010, and received airplay on Bruce Dickinson’s Friday night Rock Show, Silas are fast rising in London and Kent. Their sound is a fusion of genres; you will hear infectious hard rock grooves and adrenaline fuelled metal carnage suddenly explode into funk or flow into a jazz progression and an other-worldly guitar solo - they draw their influences from all the music they hear, whether it be blues, reggae, soul or metal
Armed with a ferocious live show unlike any other on the underground circuit, Silas are not to be missed; twin brothers Tom and Mike Ross switch roles effortlessly between drums and guitar, sharing a unique chemistry with the rhythm section's thundering back bone, bassist Matt Drumm. Combined with front man Dave Runham's highly diverse vocal style, relentless energy and honest, open armed charisma, each performance is different to the last, attracting spectators both old and new at every venue the band play.
